The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”. One of the earliest makers of bulldog-type, double action revolvers, the Iver Johnson American Bull Dog is well known and in demand. These were made by Johnson's and the relief grip showing the American eagle on a shield is typical of Johnson's ware. ​ This one is in very fine to excellent condition, with 99% original nickel. The action is accurate and strong, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly with no play. The bore of the 2 1/2-inch barrel is good with strong rifling throughout. The black hard-rubber grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 2407, excellent overall. History & Background Iver Johnson (1841-1895) was a Norwegian gunsmith who came from Bergen to America in 1863. He found work immediately at Ethan Allen's factory in Worcester, Mass. where he met Martin Bye. Johnson worked at Allen's through the civil war years, as demand for firearms was high, and work was plentiful. By 1871 Johnson and Bye had decided to venture out on their own and founded Johnson Bye & Co. in Worcester, moving to Fitchburg by 1891. In 1883 Martin Bye left the company, selling his interest to Iver. The company name was changed to its most famous form, "Iver Johnson's Arms & Cycle Works, Fitchburg, Mass.", a name it would retain until the outbreak of the First World War. Iver Johnson did not only produce a large variety of firearms, they were also famous for their excellent quality bicycles and motorcycles. The company would remain in business until 1993. The name was "revived" in 2006 and the brand is still used today.

WW1 French M1886 bayonet for the Lebel rifle. This is the war time simplified version without the quillion (hook) and with the brass handle. This version with the brass handle is of a type produced during the First World War, from the 25th of October 1914 until July of 1917.   The left side of the blade has the initials SG stamped just in front of the guard to identify the Maker.  The "S.G." mark on a French bayonet from the World War I era stands for Sutterlin Lippmann & Cie., a manufacturer located in Saint Étienne. The base of the guard has a stylized letter P with the number 45979 stamped into it. The scabbard has this matching serial number. The base of the grip has the number 11 stamped into it. Consignment sale: Selling/trading an Argentinean Mauser Model 1909 in 30-06 that was part of world renowned gunsmith Martin Hagn's personal collection. Has a 23" Hammerli barrel marked with Martin Hagn along the top. Metal work was done by Martin, colour case hardening was done by Turnbull Restoration, engraving done by MRM Engraving which includes all small parts including each individual screw head. Has a trap door grip cap which holds spare iron sights within it. Gold "Hagn" inlay ontop of the receiver, an inset pin at the tang commemorating his trophy bull harvested in Sweden, and a gold monogram on the underside of the butt. Stock work was also done by Martin and includes an ebony forend. Comes topped with its original iron sights as well as quick detach claw mounts with a Zeiss Diavaari 1.5-6x42mm scope with German #4 reticle. The rifle is in excellent shape inside and out with nearly no notable flaws. Looking for $24950 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades. Can send more pictures upon request. Here is a very good condition with skeletonized Stock, cock and click Sten gun. This was made in Long branch Ontario for the Chinese contract during World War II. Very unique piece of history. The barrel is welded shut. This price is without fake suppression. A fake suppressor could be added for an additional $250 if you would like to turn it into a commando version.
