We raise them inside initially imprinting them all from day one with handling and loving on them allowed by our moms because they trust us with their pups. As their eyes and ears open and they start getting around and eating more than moms milk they move outside so that they learn to do their business outside right from the start making them a breeze to train as they haven’t learned any bad habits going inside the house. We don’t confine them in a kennel giving them room to explore out from their safe heated clean dog house right close to our front door as they grow and develop physically and mentally in a natural part of our families outside farm chore routine following us everywhere as they grow older:) This allows them to socialize with all sorts of critters on our farm, including our free range chickens and kittens as well as learn how to be safe around vehicles. This sets them up to be brave, smart and calmer natured not being trapped in a controlled environment like most breeders. The puppies get to come inside to play with the kids regularly and are packed around everywhere giving them the best of both worlds of puppy culture training and outside free range farm exploration with water introduction at a young age also. Car rides and kennel and leash training are also something we intentionally expose them to allowing them to have their first experiences in a less stressful situation and imprint them in the least dramatic way possible. They get to see the great big world off the farm also going to our kids school to play with their friends at least a few times:) Health is a priority to us also with our full genetic guarantee for our puppies. We aim to give them the best start at life starting from conception to when they leave pampering our parents before and after along the way. We raise them holistically using high quality Acana wild fish and beef rotated dry food that has no cheap protein and fill like soy corn or chicken. We also supplement with frozen raw beef and bones and wild game and pieces of organ for nutrient rich building blocks and fresh milk from our milk cow and some of our farm yard free range soy free eggs:) We free will feed them also ensuring they learn healthy eating habits to learn how to regulate themselves and not be prone to food gluttony or aggression and highly recommend their families to do the same until they are finished growing. Mom, dad and pups get probiotics with their scheduled liquid dewormer as well as our routine dietamacious earth powder added to their milk to ensure the essentials needed for a healthy worm and parasite free digestive system. A practical puppy package is given to help the transition go smoothly including the Acana dry food they are currently on, healthy dried liver snacks, probiotics, a collar and toy and frozen bone and a blanket that smells like mom and litter mates and a health info pamphlet from our vet and a detailed bill of sale with helpful tips for bringing your little puppy home. Meet Disney! Don’t let her small stature (23lbs) and shy nature fool you, this girl is a FIRECRACKER! We lost our heart-dog in a freak accident Christmas morning and this little girl showed up as a stray Boxing Day. We decided to take her in as a personal foster; vaccinate, spay, and microchip her in his memory. She is all healed up from her spay on March 11th and now has the best chance at finding her ‘happily ever after’ with a family of her own. Disney is housebroken, crate trained, knows some basic commands, and well on her way to perfect leash manners. She has been exposed to livestock (though never worked them), loves our house cat, and leaves my chickens alone. However she is a mischievous spirit and I would not leave her unsupervised with them just yet. The vets believes her to be about a year old and a Heeler Australian Shepard mix. All we know is she is 100% good girl. She does appear to have allergies of some sort that make her a bit itchy, but we have it managed with food and it costs about $100 a month to feed her on it. It also turns her poop bright green which your kids will get a kick out of! Now because Disney spent the first year of her life as a stray she is very very shy when meeting new people and new dogs. She had a couple of puncture wounds when she was brought to us and would flinch and run away if we moved too fast. She is still holds that cautious nature with new people and will need time, patience, and understanding from her new family. That means no off leash time for awhile, slow introduction to rambunctious dogs an toddlers, and the understanding she won’t be the dog to instantly fall in love with you. She also is the dog to fear “leak” a little if you yell or handle her roughly. She does best with positive reinforcement training strategies. However give it a week with her and watch the switch flip. This girl is the definition of loyal. She is a tiny Diva and just wants all the love to make up for all the time she went without. When she decides you’re safe she is the ultimate Velcro dog. She is also increadibly smart and has a high working drive. She will need to go either to an acreage/farm home, someone who will bring her to work so she gets lots of exercise, or a family that gets she is a heeler and will need a ton of mental stimulation and exercise. We will not be adopting Disney out to an city home at this time as we do not feel based on her shyness and exercise needs it would fair to her or her new family. Potential adopters with small young children who do not have good dog manners yet, may not also be a fit for her. Disney has a foster home and safe place with us as long as she needs, and that includes if her potential adoptive family takes her and decides she is not a fit. We love her to death, and cannot wait to see her thrive in her new life ❤️ Please reach out for a meet and great if interested in this sweet girl. We have a 12 week old male Shepard Cross puppy available. This beautiful dog will be great family dog. He has lived with young kids, dogs, cats, chickens and ducks since day one. He loves to spend his days outside but is happy to spend time inside as well. They have their first round of shots and deworming. I have two adorable Labrador x pups left from a litter born in September 2023. They have their puppy vaccinations and have been dewormed. They’re in good health, they’re super friendly, active and eager to learn. I did have them started on house training but they’ve been living outside recently. I have a really small house and too many dogs to be all in the house. They’re great with other dogs, they’ve been exposed to chickens, rabbits, cows and pigs. And have been fine with them. My yard is not fully fenced and I’ve never had them wander or chase vehicles etc. they’ve been really good and are young enough that if someone wanted them indoors it would be super easy to finish their training.
