Valmet Jyvaskyla Standard . 22LR Competition single bolt actionValmet Jyvaskyla Standard . 22LR Competition single bolt action
Made in Finland M22000 Valmet Jyvaskyla Standard . 22LR Competition single shot bolt action. 27.5" heavy competition barrel. Adjustable butt plate and set trigger. Friction T channel sling slot. Profiled competition heavy stock for right handed use. Bushnell 3-9 x 20 scope with dovetail rails on receiver. Drilled and tapped for rear sight with front sight mount. VKT (Valmet), or the State Rifle Factory became operational September 9, 1928. Since 1930 Valmet's factory rifle club was active as well, having their hand in the design of the Finnish Lion, together with Aimo Lahti, the chief designer. 2. The Finnish Lion has the longest manufacturing time of all Finnish guns, from 1930 to 1979. Models are: M30 (prototype), M31 mod I, mod IIa, IIb, IVb, IVc, M35, M45, M52, M55, M59, M62, M65, M70, M200002 (Finnish Lion Standard) and wild boar version. Heavier models were the Finnish Lion Match and Champion. Two lighter version were also made, Junior and Pikku Leijona (Little Lion). 3. Serial numbers start from #1 (1932), and end into # 14,358 (1979). 4. The bolt and trigger are said to have been ahead of their time. The lock time is fast. Also the barrels were accurate. Champion models should have a set trigger, which makes lock time longer, but reduces pull weight. 5. Some of Vlamet's success in competition: WORLD RECORDS: -Lucerne 1939, 40 shots prone -400 points, Toivo Mänttäri -Buenos Aires 1949, 3x40 team contest 5770, finnish team, 40 shots standing, 380 points, Pauli Janhonen WORLD CHAMPINSHIPS -Buenos Aires 1949, 3x40 shots, 1165 points, P. Janhonen -Stockholm 1947, 40 shots standing, 377, H. Erben 6. The Helsinki Olympics in 1952 was the prime time of the Lion. A quarter of all shooters shot the Lion, prone gold was won by a Romanian - a Mr. Sirbu, score 400. $1400
SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN K11 M1911 CARBINE 7.5mm X 55mm 1931 Manufacture
SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN K11 MODEL: 1911 Action CARBINE CALIBER: 7.5 X 55, COMES WITH MAGAZINE, BORE IS VERY GOOD, SHINY. MADE IN 1931, VISIBLE NUMBERS MATCH. BLADE FRONT SIGHT WITH EARS, ADJUSTABLE U NOTCHED REAR SIGHT, BROWN POLYMER BOLT KNOBS, SILVER BOLT. TWO PIECE FULL MILITARY WOOD STOCKS, FINGER GROOVED FOREND, PISTOL GRIP, SMOOTH STEEL BUTT PLATE, SWIVELS WITH METAL HOOK FROM SLING ON ONE OF THEM, STACKING HOOK, BAYONET LUG. METAL FINISH SHOWS SOME NORMAL SCRATCHES, HANDLING MARKS AND WEAR. STOCKS SHOW SOME NORMAL SMALL MARKS, SCRATCHES AND WEAR. ACTION: STRAIGHT PULL RIFLE, BARREL LENGTH: 23.25" CLASS: CANADIAN NON RESTRICTED. Excellent Overall Condition An improvement over the original 1889 version of the Schmidt–Rubin rifle, the Swiss M1911 placed the locking lugs in the middle of the bolt, rather than at the rear, strengthening the action and allowing a more powerful cartridge, the Gewehrpatrone 11 or GP 11 to be used. It is distinguished from the 96/11 rifle by a curved butt plate and by a stock with an integral semi-pistol grip. It uses a graduated tangent sight which begins at 300 meters. The 1911 and 96/11 rifles were made with excellent craftsmanship, and were exceptionally accurate. As Switzerland remained neutral through both world wars, remaining rifles are typically in far better condition than other European rifles of the time. SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN 1896/ K11 INFANTRY RIFLE 7.5mm X 55mm Manufactured: 1911-1920
SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN, MODEL: 1896/11 INFANTRY RIFLE, CALIBER: 7.5 X 55 Very good original condition 1911-1920 conversion date to M191 action.. SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN, MODEL: 1896/11 INFANTRY RIFLE, CALIBER: 7.5 X 55, COMES WITH MUZZLE COVER, BORE IS VERY GOOD. VISIBLE NUMBERS MATCH. BARLEY CORN FRONT SIGHT WITH RAMP, ADJUSTABLE U NOTCHED REAR SIGHT, SILVER BOLT WITH RED POLYMER BOLT KNOBS. TWO PIECE FULL MILITARY WOOD STOCKS, FINGER GROOVED FOREND, MILITARY MODIFIED PISTOL GRIP, SMOOTH STEEL BUTT PLATE, SLING SWIVELS, STACKING HOOK, BAYONET LUG. METAL FINISH TURNING SILVER GREY WITH LIGHT PITTING, SCRATCHES, HANDLING MARKS AND WEAR. STOCKS SHOW DINGS, MARKS AND WEAR. ACTION: STRAIGHT PULL RIFLE, BARREL LENGTH: 30.75", CLASS: CANADIAN NON RESTRICTED. The Schmidt–Rubin rifles were a series of Swiss Army service rifles in use between 1889 and 1958. They are distinguished by the straight-pull bolt action invented by Rudolf Schmidt and use Eduard Rubin's GP90 7.5×53.5 and GP11 7.5×55 Schmidt–Rubin rifle cartridge. The Schmidt–Rubin 1896/11 rifle, or the Model 96/11, was a Swiss upgrade to the 89/96 rifles they had, to use the more powerful cartridge adopted as the GP11. The GP11 cartridge operated at a higher chamber pressure, which the 89/96 action could easily handle. The model 89/96 rifles were modernized by changing the three-groove rifled barrel to a new 4-groove type, adding a pistol grip to the stock, changing the magazine to the 6-round type used in the 1900 short rifle, and modernizing the sights. This also streamlined the appearance of the rifles. Because more rifles were needed than were available, the model 1911 rifle, with slight changes, was put into production. Almost all of the 127,000-plus model 89/96 rifles were converted to the 96/11 specifications. An improvement over the original 1889 version of the Schmidt–Rubin rifle, the Swiss M1911 placed the locking lugs in the middle of the bolt, rather than at the rear, strengthening the action and allowing a more powerful cartridge, the Gewehrpatrone 11 or GP 11 to be used. It is distinguished from the 96/11 rifle by a curved butt plate and by a stock with an integral semi-pistol grip. It uses a graduated tangent sight which begins at 300 meters. Swedish Mauser 30.06 1896 Mauser Action 23" barrel 5+1 hinge plate
Swedish Mauser action with Husqvarna barrel in 30.06, Sporter stock in good condition with butt pad cushion, swivel mounts, semi pistol grip with base cap. Knurling is in good condition. Adjustable rear sight for elevation. Overall good condition. Receiver is tapped for scope mount bases. All Swedish Mausers other than trials rifles were chambered for the 6.5×55mm Swedish cartridge, and all Swedish-made actions were proof-tested with a single 6.5×55mm proof round developing approximately 455 MPa (65,992 psi) piezo pressure (55,000 CUP).[4][5] Swedish Mausers were manufactured by Waffenfabrik Mauser AG in Oberndorf a/N in Germany and in Sweden by Carl Gustafs Stads Gevärsfaktori and Husqvarna Vapenfabriks Aktiebolag. All Swedish Mausers, whether built in Germany or Sweden, were fabricated using a Swedish-supplied high grade tool steel alloyed with nickel, copper, and vanadium, a product then noted for its strength and corrosion resistance. These rifles, like other pre-M 98 system Mauser rifles, lack the third safety locking lug at the rear of the bolt and feature "cock-on-closing" (similar to the contemporary Lee–Enfield rifle). The composite stock is manufactured with aerospace grade RTM technology. All Finnlight II stocks have carbon fiber bedding to ensure maximum accuracy and stability in all temperatures.
 * BARRELED ACTION
Cerakote® treated stainless steel action for maximum weather resistance.
 * SECURE GRIP
The grip surfaces and the cheek piece are made from robust elastomer.
 * ADJUSTABLE CHEEK PIECE
Maximum precision and unique comfort for each shot. STANDARD FEATURES * ACTION
Sako 85 actions come in six different sizes (CSA), providing reliable functioning for each caliber. All Sako 85 models feature controlled cartridge feed (RCS) to eliminate double feed or cartridge jams. The turn-bolt handle places the hand in a natural position during bolt operation, which allows for rapid repeated firing.
 * BARREL
Sako 85 barrels are manufactured with a passion for craftsmanship and the very best knowledge of Sako. Barrel blanks are drilled, honed, cold- hammer forged, finished and finally individually inspected by an optical fine-tuning instrument: the human eye. Twist rates are chosen for each caliber to optimize accuracy and bullet performance. Sako 85 barrels, blued or stainless, have a non-reflecting, satin-like surface – with the exception of the Sako 85 Deluxe and Safari models that have a highly polished finish.
 * MAGAZINE
The staggered, two-row magazine of the Sako 85 is made of stainless steel. The detachable magazine can also be loaded through the ejection port. The Total Control Latch (patent pending) of the Sako 85 prevents accidental magazine release.
 * SAFETY
The special two-way Sako safety locks both the trigger and the bolt handle. The unique bolt release button of the Sako Safety System allows you to load or remove a cartridge from the chamber while the safety is engaged.
 * SIGHTS
Most of the Sako 85 models with a blued finish on the barrel are available with either standard or optional adjustable iron sights. The front bead is adjustable in elevation and the rear blade in windage.
 * STOCK
The ergonomics of Sako 85’s walnut and synthetic stocks are built for an optimal shooting posture. The excellent balance and smooth bolt operation of Sako 85 rifles enable fast, straight and accurate operation.
 * TRIGGER
The weight of pull of the single- stage Sako 85 trigger unit is adjustable from 1 to 2 kg (2–4 lbs). An optional single-set trigger is available for most Sako 85 models. All Sako 85 rifles have an extremely durable, all-steel trigger guard that protects the trigger. An exception to this are the Finnlight and Carbonlight models, which have a lightweight hard-anodized aluminium trigger guard.
