Today we’ve got a very nice WWII German Mauser Sniper rifle clone for sale. We built this for a customer about 10 years ago but he’s decided to thin out his collection and wanted us to sell this on consignment. Chambered in traditional 8MM, the barrel is in excellent condition with very prominent lands and grooves. Excellent headspace. The owner claims to have only shot a couple hundred rounds since it was built by us. The stock is in fantastic condition as well and was completely gone over and given the correct German cartouches. The rifle itself is free of any damage such as pitting or dings and was also treated to a full complement of German inspector’s markings, eagles and serial numbers, creating a great and authentic looking clone. Finished in Black Oxide Bluing, we went all out to mimic the various brushing and machining marks to once again, create a faithful copy of this classic battle rifle. It’s fitted with a reproduction scope and mount, which we also engraved with the rifle’s serial number and other German markings. The cast mount was metal finished to look like a machined part. A repro sling was also installed to give the whole package a finished look. We test fired it and she runs like a new gun. Ready to go, needs nothing. Have fun!
