USGI WWII Springfield Armory M1 Garand Rifle 9/1943 Production
30 06 Semi Automatic Firearms Rifle

This Springfield Armory M1 Garand is a WWII-era rifle originally produced in September 1943. The rifle appears to have undergone a later rebuild consistent with Korean War-era service, including a Springfield “SA Open Box” stock cartouche associated with the 1950–1953 period and a December 1951 Springfield Armory barrel.
The rifle retains WWII-era Type 2 lockbar rear sights. The parkerized finish has a dark green appearance, while the USGI stock shows normal service-related handling marks and minor dings.
