Purebred NORWEGIAN ELKHOUND male pup available

Little Brock is looking for a new home. (His sisters, Brook and Bramble, have already found new families.) Brock is a male purebred Norwegian Elkhound puppy - of course, you can name him whatever you want to (Brock means Badger in Old English). The pups were born on July 2nd to our pair of purebred Norwegian Elkhounds that live on our farm and protect the chickens, sheep, and gardens from wildlife.

Brock has had his first shots and has been dewormed. He is also recently housebroken, as long as you let him out when he asks to go, which is quite unusual for a pup this young. He also comes when called and stops what he's doing the second you say "no", proving he is both intelligent and very trainable. As you can see in the second picture, he has also befriended the cat and is even willing to share food with it, demonstrating his kind and loving nature. The last 3 pictures are of the parents and the picture before that is the most recent and is of Brock chilling with his elderly uncle.

Norwegian Elkhounds are an ancient breed descended from Viking and Scandinavian hunting and herd protection dogs. They are not related to Huskies, are much smaller than them, and don't behave anything like them. They are super intelligent and never aggressive to people and really love attention, but they can be left alone in the yard without causing trouble. Ours live outside year round, except I had to bring the mom inside with the newborn puppies, because of the mosquitoes this year. The pictures show them chilling in the screen porch.

He can't go until he is 8 weeks, but a deposit will be required to hold him. Obviously, it would be refunded if something happened to the pup, but so far we have been successful at keeping everyone alive and well. (This is Mom's third litter.) Last year she had seven puppies, and they sold for $1400 each, so I'm hoping to stay with that price, but might be willing to budge a little for a really great home for him, if the price is a problem.
