Antique status Colt Single Action Army in 455

Excellent condition antique status early Colt Single Action Army in 455 caliber. Retains approx 70% of its original blue and case color finish. Mechanics are very good with strong lock up, excellent timing and strong springs. Second click on hammer is very weak. Bore in the 5.5" barrel has strong rifling with a small amount of freckling at the throat. One piece rose wood grips are in excellent condition. Comes in an original, oak Colt Pall Mall addressed box with L tool, oiler and Colt factory letter. Early, 4 digit serial number (1327), dated on Colts website as being manufactured in 1874. Factory letter states that it was shipped to London in Sept 1876.
