Edmonton Oilers "Pirates of the Coliseum" Framed Poster 1986-87 Team (Barrhead)

Framed poster, titled "Pirates of the Coliseum," features the 1986-87 Edmonton Oilers roster dressed as pirates on the ship at West Edmonton Mall! Originally released as a promotional giveaway at an Oilers game.

Not many of them have survived as intact as this one. The paper used was fairly thin. You can see a few small wrinkles in the paper from when it was framed.

Frame measures 25" x 21", actual poster is 17"x13.5". Nicely framed and matted.

The frame has a bit of finish missing on the bottom right hand corner.

The 1986-87 Edmonton Oilers were a powerhouse team that won their third Stanley Cup in five years, finishing first in the NHL's Smythe Division with a 50-24-6 record. Led by captain Wayne Gretzky—who dominated with 183 points (62 goals, 121 assists)—they defeated the Philadelphia Flyers in a seven-game Stanley Cup Final.
