Stolen! Vortex viper hs 4-16x44

I recently bought a used vortex viper hs 4-16x44 from a gentleman in Brandon, however he decided not to ship it. I am trying to track the scope down now and was checking with a few local forums/marketplaces to see if they have seen or sold a scope with the serial number A17038792. Any help would be appreciated.
