This example was manufactured in 1893 and has a classic look of a well seasoned sidearm that spent a lifetime carried at the hip of its previous owner and its steer head carved grip makes it a perfect companion for a frontier rancher. The barrel has the two-line Hartford address on top and "41 COLT" on left side. The frame has the two-line patent date marking followed by an encircled Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers appear on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The revolver wears a set of pearl grips featuring a relief carved steer head on the right panel. Also comes with modern walnut grips. New set of Wolff gun springs installed. Functions as it should with typical SAA 4-hammer clicks. Hand loaded ammunition is also available for valid PAL holders.
