WW1 1915 Lee Enfield Australian DOD SMLE

Carefully restored to near issued condition BSAco 1915 SMLE with Australian DOD proof markings, and with broad arrow.

The 1915 SMLE rifles were the last year for volley sights and magazine cut-off. The Australian and New Zealand soldiers used these rifles at Galipoli and throughout WW1 and WW2

The rifle features volley sights and magazine cut-off with Australian reproduction 'brown' leather Pattern 1907 sword bayonet.

Wood stock is from walnut and has original styled authentic raw leather sling.
