Gorgeous WW2 Enfield Sniper

An absolutely stunning Lee Enfield No.4 T sniper rifle. Manufactured by M47C BSA Shirley 1944

Receiver, bolt, and fore stock serials match. Butt stock is correctly marked S51. Correct sniper sling swivel.

- Includes a rare scope case, for carrying when the soldier was not in active combat.

- Original leather scope covers.

- Correct leather sniper sling - M.1907 pattern.

Receiver has letter S by the receiver ring, letter T marked, and TR on left side of butt socket.

Bore is in excellent condition with strong rifling. Rifle shoots very well and I printed 2-3" groups with FMJ ammo. Consistent with British military accuracy standards.

No. 32 scope was professionally inspected and cleaned by the premier British scope expert - Warren Wheatfield.

Scope mount also has remnants of Canadian Army green paint. Indicating this rifle likely served with Canadian forces in WW2.
