I have for sale my Remington Model 600 in 350 Remington Magnum. It has an 18.5" vented rib barrel, and a walnut/birch laminate stock. It was made in 1965 as per the serial number and has fired exactly 22 rounds in it's lifetime.
The rifle will come with the vintage shown Redfield 2.5x scope, and it has a German-Post type reticle. The scope has clear glass but has some hunting marks on the body and lock-ring from being sixty one years old. It is mounted with steel Redfield one inch rings and a Redfield steel one piece base.
The laminate stock has been professionally redone & restored with eight coats of Tru-Oil and a 3" hairline crack was also repaired at the same time. The crack is barely visible under the dog leg bolt. Sling studs are mounted front and rear. The Remington original butt pad is also present.
The bluing has some wear at the muzzle and is approximately 90% overall. The vented rib is intact with no warps or cracks. Both the factory front & rear sights are still present. The plastic trigger guard has no cracks and is not warped or bowed.
This rifle will shoot 5/8" groups with Remington Factory 200 grain Core-lokt ammunition. Recoil is approximately 25 foot pounds, or equivalent to a 30-06 with a 180 grain bullet. Chronographs @ 2593 fps.
I am asking $1500.00 for the complete package. Shipping is an extra $50.00, (with tracking and $100.00 insurance).
The only trade I would accept would be a Remington CDL Model Seven also in 350 Remington Magnum.
Price is firm, I'm not looking for offers, Thanks!......:)
Rifle has been cleaned, sighted-in, and is ready for spring bear, or fall hunting. This model 600 is very maneuverable and handy to pack around.
