Hey, I recently took in this dog after being told she was desensitized, well socialized, and familiar with people and living in a home.

Unfortunately, after bringing her home, it became very clear that she is very overwhelmed, and I strongly suspect she came from a poorly socialized situation.

Because of that, I’m looking for a home for her. She is only 1 year old and is going to need someone patient, consistent, and willing to give her time to decompress and learn how to feel safe. I have a young child, and I don’t feel my home is the right environment for what she needs. She would make a great farm dog. Loves being outside

You MUST come meet her in person before agreeing to take her. I want you to see her personality and behaviour for yourself and make sure she is genuinely a good fit for your home. The price reflects that I’m looking for a serious buyer and, more importantly, a serious and committed home—not someone looking for a cheap or impulse dog. I was not given the opportunity to make that decision for myself, and I want to make sure her next home does.
