Imperial german rifle collection.
8 Mm Mauser (8x57) Bolt Firearms Rifle
Decided to go a different way with my money so I'm selling my collection of rifles from the german empire. This is every standard service rifle of the german empire from its start in 1871 to its end in 1918.
From top to bottom.
Mauser model 1871, the very first mauser rifle that was adopted by a military, very rare to see this model non sporterised with the military stock. Overall condition is good with a good bore and minimal wear on the stock. All numbers matching except the buttplate.
Mauser model 1871/84. A straight upgrade to the first with 8 round tube magazine, overall condition is good with decent bore and good stock, 100% numbers matching inside and out.
Gewehr 1888, First smokeless powder rifle used by german chambered in 8mm mauser, this is a rare one that hasn't been upgraded or sent to turkey. Still needs enbloc clips to load. Overall condition is decent with some pitting underneath the stock, numbers match on the reciever and bolt. Bore is very good with strong rifling throughout.
Gewehr 1898. The king of all mausers, the model 98 was the standard issue rifle of germany for ww1, this one is all numbers matching except for the bolt which is pretty standard. Overall condition is good with a good bore and minimal wear and tear on the stock. Comes with the correct 1898 bayonet and scabbard.
K98az Short carbine length rifle used in ww1 as well as ww2 this one is in good shape with a very good bore and good stock except for two small holes (pictured) that were drilled in the tang for some reason. Numbers matching except for the bolt. Comes with a ''butcher'' bayonet and scabbard.
Open to reasonable offers, message for more pics/info. I can ship but buyer will have to pay for it. Really not willing to sell anything separately either. Thanks for looking.
