22 year old male and female blue fronted Amazon male and female

We adopted these two when their owner passed away 2 years ago.Our dbl yellow headed had passed away a year earlier. My husband was caregiver and hoped to bond with these two. Unfortunately because they were raised by a female, the female has refused to bond with him. She will fly to me for cuddles and has never nipped me. If my husband comes near me, she will fly at him and try to bite him. The male is fine but timid because she’s so aggressive.

These birds need a female caregiver.
