Mastercraft 2 gallon oil free air compressor used twice

I have an almost New Mastercraft 2 gallon oil less air compressor available. I have only used it twice and it works well for finishing and brad nailing but does not keep up well enough for me to shoot hundreds of 1 1/4" subfloor staples, needs time to catch up after 50 staples.
