Super collectable “S/147” 1938 marked German mfg J.P. SAUER & SOHN Model 98 Mauser bolt action WWII era rifle. Chambered in 8X57MM (8MM MAUSER), 24" barrel, military blued finished, adjustable rear sight, blade front sight with muzzle protector, right handed bolt, manual safety, 5rd capacity, metal floor plate, metal floor plate, bayonet lug, steel trigger guard, leather shoulder sling, and wood stock set with metal butt plate. Ample German Military markings & proofs throughout as pictured! Low serial number “820” marked on the barrel, receiver, & stock with the bolt being electro pencil marked to match. Super solid condition with a very nice bore and strong action. Appearance is extremely as well showing mild signs of handling and use normal to a WW2 era rifle.
