Sourdough starter (dehydrated)

Offering 10gram packages of dehydrated sourdough starter to anyone interested in getting into sourdough baking. I named this starter "Karen" and the colony was started early 2023. This is a highly active natural (no commercial yeast) starter built on organic whole wheat and rye flour, all wild yeast and bacteria. Can pick up in Fort Saskatchewan or i can mail it to you. Dehydrated starters help jumpstart a new starter but are not required. The dehydrated flour has oodles of the desirable yeasts and bacteria but they are all over our environment and all that is technically needed is flour, water (in equal weights) and time. You can feed this starter with any type of flour that has gluten (white all purpose, bread, whole wheat, rye exc.). 10 grams dried starter for $10 CAD. Shipping regular mail for Alberta $2.
