Using a non-marring rawhide or wood hammer to form sheet metal (tin plate, brass or copper) into cones, cylinders, and odd shapes for decorative items, cookware and lanterns. They were either put in square holes in a tin smith’s table or in a stump. It is an antique but can be used with softer material and hand tools without damaging it. It weighs about 10 lbs. and the horn is 6 1/2”, the point is 11 1/2” and the take is 9”.
