USGI WWII Springfield Armory M1 Garand Rifle 9/1943 Production
30 06 Semi Automatic Firearms Rifle
This is a nice condition WWII Springfield M1 Garand Rifle in .30-06 that was originally built in September, 1943. Like almost all WWII M1's, it appears it was rebuilt for Korean War service in the early 1950's: the stock is stamped with an "SA Open Box" cartouche which was done during the 1950-1953 period, and it has a 12/1951 Springfield barrel. It still has its desirable WWII-correct type 2 lockbar sights. The parkerizing appears to be original and is a nice even, dark green color, and the USGI wood is in nice shape with just a few dings from its service history. The bore is bright and shiny and the muzzle wear gauges a "3", so there is little wear and it should be a nice shooter. There are no import marks on this rifle, no reproduction parts, no pitting, and no issues - this is just an honest, good condition M1 Garand rifle you can be proud to own and shoot.
