German Drilling Gun Model 88/8 16 gauge side by side plus 7.7mm rifle made by C. Guntermann in Dusseldorf early 1900.
27" barrels,16GA  2 3/4" and the rifle barrel is .318".
The raised matt has a rear sight that is folded into it and is raised when the rifle barrel is selected.
The stock work is a typical German style with plain wood and checked pistol grip stock. It has a raised cheekpiece on the left side. It has a pistol grip cap and a horn buttplate. The stock is in good condition.
