Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action .303 Brit. Date 1926  The wood on forearm and butt stock is very good with just some minor bangs from use. There are some ½” tang cracks and a crack and tiny piece missing from fore end. Original curved steel recoil butt plate is in place. The is a sling swivel in butt stock but no matching in forearm.  The bluing on the barrel is ~ 60%, and action ~20%. The metal is good. The sights are correct and in good shape. The barrel is 28”, and the muzzle is excellent. The bore looks good, and rifling is good. Screws are in very good condition. All lettering and the serial number are crisp and clear.  Operationally everything checks out. The trigger is good. The firing pin is in place, the magazine spring works well, and the ejector is tight. Half cock safety works and hold when bumped, when at full cock or fire ready the hammer does not fall when bumped.  Overall, this firearm is graded as very good. A great addition to any collection. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to.
