This rare, vintage ammo box from THE Old Reliable Cartridge Co. is a rare find for cartridge collectors and enthusiasts. They were custom manufactured, for a short time, in Belgium and marketed out of Milwaukee WI , under the original Sharps Rifle Company Patent ( then owned by the forerunner to the C. Sharps Company, of Big Timber , Montana. It is labelled with the Old Reliable Cartridge Co. branding. Included with the box are 7 original brass hulls, in 50-70 caliber, with the “ OLD RELIABLE “ head stamp and a pin backed, enameled, tin button which matches the same light blue colour as the box . These scarce boxes and especially the brass hulls, are rarely encountered any longer and are sure to be a conversation piece of your collection……. a great addition to any collection, and its rarity only adds to its value.
