EGE LV410S 410ga

EGE Arms LV410S is the short version of the LV410 lever action shotgun. 2-1/2" chamber, 12" barrel. got this on an impulse and it's been great although I haven't really shot it all that much. Ran about 5 boxes of birdshot, buckshot and slugs combined. Action feels smooth and the whole construction appears very solid. Yes you can do the "terminator thing" with it because it has large loop and is short! No recoil, simple and not over complicated, take it apart with ease and clean whatever. It's absolutely appealing to the eye and everything is metal. Has M-Lok aluminum guard, QD socket on the side of the receiver for saddle ring or sling mount. High grade tiger striped Turkish walnut. However I am over it, not sure if it's just me or if gun needs breaking in but I found that it doesn't like certain cheap ammo. I had no issues with federal, challenger, remington, winchester or hornady ammunition, but it didn't like the BPS brand or the YRB Troy brand and I haven't used any other brands besides those mentioned. Could be the BPS and YRB have hard primers? But other than that cycling was no issue. Also you gotta hold the lever handle tight to the stock to push on the trigger release for it to fire and I found that annoying..
