Winchester produced approximately 14,360 standard and member-issue RCMP Centennial Model 94 rifles in 1973. Production was broken down into two main versions:

Public Issue: 9,500 rifles manufactured for general sale, featuring serial numbers with the "RCMP" prefix. This rifle is the general sale grouping.

Members Issue: Approximately 4,850 to 5,100 rifles produced exclusively for active and retired RCMP members, featuring serial numbers with the "MP" prefix.

CFP/RCMP Bill C-71 requires any firearm to have a transfer registration number approved by the CFP to sell, give or transfer as of MAY 18, 2022.

Seller needs the full name and PAL of the buyer with DOB and email as on file with the CFP. Seller then submits information on the RCMP CFP Individual Web Services which confirms the buyers PAL as valid or not with a Reference Number. Failure to do so
