Savage Model 1899 30-30

Selling/trading a Savage Model 1899 in 30-30. Overall it's in nice shape. Made in 1908, 25" barrel. Bluing is in decent shape, has started to turn a darker blue but still retains some colour. Receiver has faded to a nice lighter colour. Wood stocks are in nice shape throughout, has a few small chips and one hairline at the tang. Bore is in nice shootable shape. Barrel looks like it may have been slightly shortened based on the flat crown and being close to the front sight. Comes topped with a tang mounted flip up peep sight and has its original front and rear sights. Front of the receiver is drilled for a base. Has a barrel mounted sling swivel and one on the butt stock. Overall a nice rifle. Looking for $895 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades. Can send more pictures upon request.
