Winchester Model 54 .270 Win

Selling/trading a Winchester Model 54 in .270 Win. Overall it's in good shape. Made in 1928, 24" barrel. Barrel looks to have been slightly shortened as it's got a flat crown with no colour left at the muzzle. Bluing has faded to a nice patina for the most part. Stock was sanded and thinned out in a few places, an attempt was made at a Schnabel forend. Fitment isn't perfect in many spots. Bore is in good shape. Sling studs are mismatched and ill fitted, receiver is drilled for bases. Has its original iron sights. A good restoration project or shoot it as is. Looking for $775 shipped.
