No5 Mk1 (F) 303 British Enfield Jungle Carbine July 1946 Matching Serials Action, Bolt & Mag

No 5 Mk1 "Jungle Carbine" Dated 07/46 Post WWII Production. Made at ROF Fazakerley (F). Rifle is in VG to Excellent overall condition. Original furniture and hardware with only minor handling marks. Butt pad is in excellent condition with next to no wear. It is possible the butt pad & metal were replaced as the screws show green paint on them (from the Malaysia campaign?). Bore is bright & shiny with deep grooves. It doesn't look like it has been fired very much. Bluing looks to be in VG condition with little wear. 

All matching serial numbers, including the magazine which is very rare, lending to the limited use theory. Electro-pencil marks are weak so it also has a serial number stamped on the wrist. Proper 800 yard milled rear sight. Bayonet lug & flash hider are intact.

This rifle is in incredible condition for its age. Comes with the proper Enfield web sling, no markings and a bit faded.
