Iron Curtain East German Post War Refurbished K98 Bayonet Un-issued 41 FZE Holler

WW2 German 1941 F.W. Holler K98 bayonet in a 1943 cvl / WKC scabbard. Looks un-issued with great bluing.

Post WW2 the East German Army de-nazified the bayonets by removing all the Waffenamt stamps, giving them a brushed finish on the pommels, blades  & scabbards.

They also replaced the flash guards with a waffle pattern guard, rather than a smooth one and usually changed out the grips / scales for wood. This bayonet still has it's original red/brown bakelite scales.
