Deactivated World War II MK II Sten Gun - Canadian Long Branch 1945 Receiver marked 12L 3977 Barrel marked SL 2885 The Barrel Shroud can be removed from the barrel but the Barrel has been welded to the frame and cannot be removed. The chamber has been welded so that a bullet cannot enter the barrel. The rotating magazine box works as designed both for transport and for removal of the Barrel Shroud. The magazine can be inserted and removed as designed and the magazine release works as intended. The Buttstock can be removed as designed. This model of the Mark II is equipped with the push through bolt. The action can be cycled and the selective fire switch moves.
