Historically produced in Duramite (often checkered black) or wood, these grips helped "lock" the hand in place for improved accuracy.   ·  Design & Purpose: Developed as an off-the-shelf, adjustable, ergonomic grip for competitive target shooting, offering a high-rise, "lock-in" feel.   ·  Material: Known for being produced in Black Checkered Duramite.   The right hand stock was broken in the past but was glued together and never had any further issues with it.  It has been used for many rounds of target .45 ACP since the repair.
