Winchester 1892 in 40 WCF with Full Octagon barrel

Winchester Model 1892 rifle with 24” full octagon barrel and cartridge tube. Rifle is in good condition all original, with normal natural wear. Receiver has the grey/brown patina and the barrel/ammo tube a blue original finish. Rifling clean with sharp edges. The wood is all natural and has normal wear and aging for a 130 year old antique rifle. Has the early production marking Model 1892-Winchester- Pat. Oct.14.1884. Serial number indicates made in 1896. Letter of authenticity statement says rifle was received in the warehouse on June 21,1900 and shipped from the warehouse on December 18,1900. Order number 85155.
