Savage 99 in 300 Savage takedown lever action rifle circa 1927. Exterior blue was rated at 10% with brownish finish on the rest of the metal (I would have though higher but its the way a 1920s Savage 99 ages. Bore about Good to very good with some wear around the throat. Honest wear in a good solid hunting rifle. Very slight crack back of the tang of the butt stock (I had to actually look for it again) which is common to these rifles. These are dummy cartridges, shells, assorted projectiles and a couple of dulled arrow heads that I once used for hunter education but no longer required. Some are commercially made (shotgun shells, rimfire ammo and chemically coloured cases) and others were made by me. There is no powder or any primers located in the dummy ammunition. If you teach CFSC in Ontario, most of the brass cases will have to have holes drilled in them to meet FSESO standards for dummy ammunition. $50 for all dummy ammo plus actual shipping. Open for SKS Trade. One of the few Century Arms that was correctly converted into 308 Win - This one has new barrel AND has the correct hook of forend to reciever. Close to the ultimate bush gun. Rubber recoil slip on as this is LIGHT LIGHT LIGHT although original steel butt plate is there. Blueing on receiver is great - this was in good condition before conversion to 308 I do not think I have ever seen one of these in Canada. I do have surplus 308 7.62 ammo but at 78 yrs old I never got this out to the range. More powerful than the small 30-30 and about the same size if not even smaller. Bit late for this fall hunt but could be a riot at the range. Unmodified 36s are now over $1,000 but this one is actually useful. Prefer pickup in Waterloo but will ship.
