Sako 85 Finnlight - 3006
Description The Sako 85 Finnlight rifle is for those who foray deep into the wild to reach their goal. Hunters on mountain trails or on long-distance treks prefer high-performance rifles that are full-sized, yet still lightweight. The fluted barrel of the Finnlight is just one of the many features that make it ideal for the hunter seeking a perfectly trimmed light rifle. The Sako 85 Finnlight is also an excellent choice for women and younger shooters. SPECIAL FEATURES BARREL The specially engineered fluted barrel of the Sako 85 Finnlight reduces rifle weight and also accelerates the barrel cooling. STOCK Sako 85 Finnlight has a reinforced black polymer stock with a soft grey pattern on its grip surfaces and a Soft Touch surface treatment. ACTION Sako 85 actions come in six different sizes (CSA), providing reliable functioning for each caliber. All Sako 85 models feature controlled cartridge feed (RCS) to eliminate double feed or cartridge jams. The turn-bolt handle places the hand in a natural position during bolt operation, which allows for rapid repeated firing. BARREL Sako 85 barrels are manufactured with a passion for craftsmanship and the very best knowledge of Sako. Barrel blanks are drilled, honed, cold- hammer forged, finished and finally individually inspected by an optical fine-tuning instrument: the human eye. Twist rates are chosen for each caliber to optimize accuracy and bullet performance. Sako 85 barrels, blued or stainless, have a non-reflecting, satin-like surface – with the exception of the Sako 85 Deluxe and Safari models that have a highly polished finish. MAGAZINE The staggered, two-row magazine of the Sako 85 is made of stainless steel. The detachable magazine can also be loaded through the ejection port. The Total Control Latch (patent pending) of the Sako 85 prevents accidental magazine release. SAFETY The special two-way Sako safety locks both the trigger and the bolt handle. The unique bolt release button of the Sako Safety System allows you to load or remove a cartridge from the chamber while the safety is engaged. SIGHTS Most of the Sako 85 models with a blued finish on the barrel are available with either standard or optional adjustable iron sights. The front bead is adjustable in elevation and the rear blade in windage. STOCK The ergonomics of Sako 85’s walnut and synthetic stocks are built for an optimal shooting posture. The excellent balance and smooth bolt operation of Sako 85 rifles enable fast, straight and accurate operation. TRIGGER The weight of pull of the single- stage Sako 85 trigger unit is adjustable from 1 to 2 kg (2–4 lbs). An optional single-set trigger is available for most Sako 85 models. All Sako 85 rifles have an extremely durable, all-steel trigger guard that protects the trigger. An exception to this are the Finnlight and Carbonlight models, which have a lightweight hard-anodized aluminium trigger guard. *NO HOLDS **Accepted method via Email transfer & cash *** gently USED hunting firearm from my safe. I've used this firearm on a number of hunts in the last two years. It is a well maintained firearm that equipped Sako opilok rings and a Vortex Viper 3-9x40 scope plus a Sako sling.

Savage 24V Series D 30-30 / 20 gauge
Savage Model 24V combination gun chambered in .30-30 (rifle) over 20-gauge (shotgun). Solid, dependable hunting/survival platform — shoots well and gives you the flexibility of two calibres in one compact package. Comes with original iron sights and scope rail. Condition & repair: stock was professionally repaired by Proline Shooters (Calgary) for a hairline crack near the tang; repair is stable and cosmetically tidy (see picture). Metalwork and action are clean and function smoothly; barrels are true, extractor/cocking functions work reliably. Great choice for someone who wants a rugged, no-nonsense two-in-one rifle/shotgun. METAL FINISH TURNING SILVER GREY WITH LIGHT PITTING, SCRATCHES, HANDLING MARKS AND WEAR. STOCKS SHOW DINGS, MARKS AND WEAR. ACTION: STRAIGHT PULL RIFLE, BARREL LENGTH: 30.75", CLASS: CANADIAN NON RESTRICTED. The Schmidt–Rubin rifles were a series of Swiss Army service rifles in use between 1889 and 1958. They are distinguished by the straight-pull bolt action invented by Rudolf Schmidt and use Eduard Rubin's GP90 7.5×53.5 and GP11 7.5×55 Schmidt–Rubin rifle cartridge. The Schmidt–Rubin 1896/11 rifle, or the Model 96/11, was a Swiss upgrade to the 89/96 rifles they had, to use the more powerful cartridge adopted as the GP11. The GP11 cartridge operated at a higher chamber pressure, which the 89/96 action could easily handle. The model 89/96 rifles were modernized by changing the three-groove rifled barrel to a new 4-groove type, adding a pistol grip to the stock, changing the magazine to the 6-round type used in the 1900 short rifle, and modernizing the sights. This also streamlined the appearance of the rifles. Because more rifles were needed than were available, the model 1911 rifle, with slight changes, was put into production. Almost all of the 127,000-plus model 89/96 rifles were converted to the 96/11 specifications. An improvement over the original 1889 version of the Schmidt–Rubin rifle, the Swiss M1911 placed the locking lugs in the middle of the bolt, rather than at the rear, strengthening the action and allowing a more powerful cartridge, the Gewehrpatrone 11 or GP 11 to be used. It is distinguished from the 96/11 rifle by a curved butt plate and by a stock with an integral semi-pistol grip. It uses a graduated tangent sight which begins at 300 meters. The 1911 and 96/11 rifles were made with excellent craftsmanship, and were exceptionally accurate. As Switzerland remained neutral through both world wars, remaining rifles are typically in far better condition than other European rifles of the time.
