Selling/trading a Browning Superposed 12 gauge over under. Overall it's in nice shape. This is a pre-war gun made somewhere between 1931 an 1939 (SN 10###). 30" barrels with solid rib, 2 3/4" chambers, fixed chokes (not marked), ejectors, single trigger with safety on the tang not operable but a safety on the underside of the trigger that slides forward and back - this was a factory option that many guns were retrofitted with after 1937. Receiver was factory colour case hardened - the vast majority of which has faded but is still present on the underside of the release lever and on the inside of the action when the barrels are removed. Bluing on the barrels show very well with only light spots of fading here and there. Receiver has nice factory scroll work throughout. Straight English style stock. Wood is all in good shape, normal marks here and there. Has a hairline on the left side of the forestock which doesn't appear to be through the wood. The heel of the butt stock has a chunk out of it and a chip in the butt plate in the same spot. Lockup is tight, bores are in nice shape throughout. Overall a very nice shotgun. Steel is in good shape, barrel has turned to a clean darker patina throughout, receiver has freckled and turned to a lighter patina. Stocks are in good shape, original fit and finish. Left handed Savage, comes with Calibre Specific Cabelas scope installed. Winchester 94 dated 1922 ¾ mag 32winspl eastern carbine . Not much color left gum wood stock set, 94c marbles front sight , king rear sight . Good bore receiver has quite a few dings in it, stock set forearm has a crack up front where they crack , butt stock has a major chip missing . I took a bunch of pictures of this because of the imperfections . Its a hard to find original ¾ mag gun , it was a well used hunting gun . Decent yet fun shooter .

Howdy Townpost. This is a nice little and fair conditioned pocket tip-up revolver, in .30 Rimfire. In the 19th century, XXX was used denote very strong malt liquor. So I think marlin was trying to market in the name that this is a stout little gun. Similarly done by Hopkins & Allen with the naming of their "XL" series of pocket revolvers. These were made by Marlin from 1873-1887 with a total of roughly 26,000 being made. They are essentially copies of the Smith and Wesson Model 1 1/2's and 2's. The mechanical condition of this firearm is excellent. The hammer and cylinder function reliably and as intended. Timing and lock up are excellent. The barrel is tight on the frame. This revolver was tuned by my gunsmith too. The bore is worn but there's some life left in it. There's frosting at the front of the cylinder and the forcing cone. The nickel is mostly present on the frame and the beautiful original rosewood grips are in excellent shape. The revolver is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.
