It operates on a simple blowback action. It is targeted towards beginning shooters, small game hunters, and budget minded plinking. It is one of the most popular plinkers in the United States due to high accuracy, being chambered in cheap, common, and readily available .22 long rifle, and the inexpensive price. It is unusual among semiautomatic 22s, and traditional (non-bullpup) semiautomatic rifles in general, in that it is available in a true left handed version (left handed safety, charging handle and eject -presumably wrong handed twist). Some consider this particularly helpful for new, especially young shooters, as it leaves them free to focus on more important matters to learn. The “64 series” has sold under [combination of manufacturers’ names listed above] [62, 64 and 954] [one or more letters]. It was also sold as Sears Roebuck & Co. Model 6C. Although often unexpressed in speech, as a “64” it is almost always followed by a single series letter. “64” without a letter indicates the first year of manufacturer only. That version had a plastic magazine. It is considered undesirable. It was followed by the 64B. I am selling a very good shaped, Weatherby Mark V Accumark in 338 Lapua Mag. This rifle is in overall very good shape. Bore is excellent, fresh cerakote, new Benchmark Muzzle Break. New Pic rail. Past owner unfortunately left it in his safe untouched for a long time and there was a small amount of minor pitting near the muzzle that has been rectified and cured with treatment and cerakoting and is barely visible. Howdy Townpost. This is a fine English pocket or coat pistol made by Hollis and Sheath company which is the precursor to Hollis and Sons or Isaac Hollis and Sons. Wallace and sheath became Hollis and Sons in 1861 when Isaac Brentnall Sheath left the company to immigrate to Canterbury, Australia and raised sheep and owned coal mines in an area that is now a suburb of Melbourne. His gun making days were behind him, he'd become an industrialist down undah. Sheath & Hollis co-founded the company in 1849 and Sheath stayed with the company until as previously stated, 1861. That dates this firearm between 1849 and 1861. This is a single shot side hammer lock percussion pistol. It's a screw-barrel meaning you unthread the barrel, fill the powder chamber and place a ball on top it. You then use the barrel itself and the threads to seat the ball inside of the breach. Then a percussion cap on the nipple, put it at half cock put it in your dapper overcoat and pull it out should you meet any Scallywags on your travels. The gun is mechanically excellent. The bore condition is very good, there is some minor shallow pitting but overall the rifling is very sharp and clean and shiny. The overall exterior condition of the metal and wood is in excellent shape the diamond checkering are sharp and defined. The powder chamber has only minor pitting as pictured and was cleaned out internally. For a defensive coat pistol, the sights are excellent and easy to pick up and with a rifled bore in good condition I expect this pistol could be fired very accurately. To shoot this gun I would use 3F powder. Both number 10 and 11 caps fit the nipple reasonably well. A 40 caliber lead ball would be ideal as a projectile but you could definitely use .375 caliber balls with a patch no problem in my opinion. I haven't tried it myself though. The pistol is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

Howdy Townpost. I scavenged some parts for my own Type 99 and this is what is left that I don't need. The guard is pitted and rough shape on the outside. The rust was cleaned off but the pits remain. It's still perfectly functional and the internals are in actually decent shape. The part is located in SW Calgary and can be picked up anytime. I am also happy to ship nationwide at buyer's expense.
