The M1941 Johnson is a very rare firearm designed prior to WWII by a Marine Corps Captain. The quick change barrel and a ten round magazine that can be reloaded during firing are but two of the many unique M1941 Johnson innovations. The M1941 Johnson was used by the Marine Raiders and the Para-Marines at the beginning of World War II and served as their main semi-auto rifle until adoption of the M1 Garand in late 1942. Near mint condition, would be mint but there are the usual light scratches here and there on the dust cover, although very minimal. This turntable was last serviced 2 years ago with a new belt installed at that time. Recently cleaned the pitch control pots with Deoxit, keeps speed perfectly. Primary use of this turntable back in the day was to transfer vinyl records over to cassette tape. Approx 75 records were transferred then it was stored until now. Not a whole lot of use on the player. Comes with a Shure M91ED MM cartridge and stylus. You would be hard pressed to find another SL-23 in this condition.
