I picked this up a while ago and have never used it. It was going to be my bug out gun but life changes and i need to downsize my collection. There is some pitting on the receiver. Bubbad metal work to fit the mag. Rifling looks good. Wartak skar sd-r scope rail. And AR magwell adapter. There is a bit of finish work that needs to be done. The ammo stovepipes unless you put a shim behind the mag then it cycles fine. Might be an easy fix if you have the right tools. Topped with a Burris fullfield 3-9x40 at the moment. $1500 for the rifle, magwell, rail and scope. 1500rd crate of Chinese corrosive. extra $500. The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”. But the nearly invisible edge of the PK-AS and later on the Paragon discarded the idea that “good enough” was actually “good enough” in regards to situational awareness. Selling my Surplus Russian SKS. I've put around 200 rounds through it and have trouble finding the time to shoot. I'm also moving to the states in a year so I'm unable to export it. It has an engraving on the stock because I never planned on selling it but sadly I must. Missing from the pictures are all my stripper clips I will included with it and all its accessories and sling (not original). What I know about the rifle is its a 1956 Д "D" Letter Rifle Refurb , The stock is has a 1952 stamp, magazine serial is not matching.
