I did not get the 'go' gauges as that defines the minimum headspace and I was looking out for headspace growing with usage of the gun. Primarily for when I was searching for guns to purchase.  The field gauges indicate maximum safe headspace in used guns, i.e. slightly larger than the SAAMI as manufactured. If a 'Field' gauge will chamber, don't shoot the gun.  I'm not sure if I ever actually used these. They are in as new condition. This rifle was purchased and imported by me in 2010. I’m the original owner. This is a left hand bolt action .22lr, magazine fed 5 shot repeater. It has a 24” #3 Douglas barrel,OD green Kevlar stock w/cheekpiece. There are a total of 3-5 shot magazines plus one that needs work to function properly. I’ve ruined enough mags to know better than to try to fix it myself. The barrelled action was a satin finish that’s been Ceracoated. It has a Timney trigger and a Talley picatinny 0 degree rail, also two sets of different height 1” ULA proprietary rings also made by Talley. Includes two EB Rifleman 2.8-9X40 green anodized scopes with P4 reticle and target turrets, a wood M40 style stock that has a pillar bedded action and free floated barrel. The Kevlar stock is full length bedded including the barrel. Speaking of the barrel, it’s a 24” chrome/moly not stainless and it’s 0.660” at the muzzle, so it’s heavier than a standard barrel but it’s not as heavy as a varmint weight barrel. It’s for sale because I’m not going to make good use of it at my age. It’s only going to waste in the gun safe. Once again it is a left hand action. Condition and performance? Condition is Excellent and can it shoot? Absolutely. It’s not picky about ammo. Will shoot most standard velocity well, never tried high velocity and absolutely no Stingers. I believe they’ll cause problems due to the type of chamber. Besides, if you use Stingers you don’t need this type of rifle. If you have any other questions or need more photos, let me know.

1942 round receiver izzy Mosin in great shape. Receiver and bolt numbers match, stock and magazine are force-matched. Stock still has a nice deep color with shellac only coming off on the front handguard. Some scuffs and safe kisses on the butt end of the stock. The bore is extremely good. Very shiny with no apparent pitting or rust anywhere. Solid rifling. Comes complete with a bayonet. The price is firm. Much nicer than the junk you would find at your local gun store for more money. I may consider trades for other firearms - try me, worst I will say is no and I do have my RPAL.
