The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”. But the nearly invisible edge of the PK-AS and later on the Paragon discarded the idea that “good enough” was actually “good enough” in regards to situational awareness. Unlike the PK-AS, the Paragon is designed to be small and light. I’ve got a tikka t3x chambered in 6.5 creedmoor with a vortex viper hd 5-25x50 mrad mounted in talley extra low rings. The scope also has a vortex throw lever and a scope coat. Rifle is in perfect condition as well as the scope, I just don’t use it anymore. It shoots very well and I’ve had this rifle out to 1005 yards with good consistency using factory ammo. My reason for selling is I don’t use it much anymore and I’ve got some other projects on the go. It has under 100 rounds through it.
