The rifling lands in front of the chamber had separated from barrel for about 1.25" and 1 land was protruding into bore. Cut off 2" of barrel chamber end. Machined new barrel end to fit receiver tighter by .002" and rechambered for 22 short only. At range gun shot 1/4" - 5 shot group at 50 yds. shooting CCI 22 short - 27 gr. HP. Seems the rifling is not shot out but can not understand rifling land separation. UNIQUE -- NO WARRANTY or REFUND from LILJA. Call phone or e-mail only. No messages. Aug. 27/24: Over the past 3 years I just added 3817 rds. of CCI 22 shorts to round count. Still shooting 1/4" groups at 50 yds.

Selling off my Simson 12ga over/under. this firearm has a date stamp of 953. Meaning it was built on the 9th month or 1953. The firearm also is stamped with a S marking. This stamp was for quality of the firearm and its ranked as top level quality. The firearm has double triggers and top locking lugs. All serial numbers match. Barrel length is 28”. Lithgow mark 3 star s.m.l.e. Bore looks good. Blueing looks great. Non matching but feels like new. Stock has some brass repairs but appear well done. I personally have not shot this rifle. Bought 5 years ago from a local vendor that I see every gun show selling these for about $400. I have 2 other 303s with scopes and my eyes are bad so iron sights don't work for me.
