Interested in going hunting next year so you can bring home a nice goose for Christmas and Thanksgiving? We teach the Canadian Firearms Safety Course, the course you need to be able to apply! We teach both the Non Restricted and the Restricted courses. We have group classes and if you are not comfortable being in a group we can offer one on one course. We are available for most Weekends, Weekdays and Evenings (please note weekend classes fill quickly). Call us at 403-885-5206 for available dates and to book your spot. Current Classes: Non Restricted – Saturday, October 5th – 10am at the Community Activity Centre in Joffre Non Restricted – Saturday, October 12th – 10am at the Community Activity Centre in Joffre Non Restricted – Saturday October 19th – 10am at the Community Activity Centre in Joffre Non Restricted – Saturday, October 26th – 10am at the Community Activity Centre in Joffre Courses are limited to 10 people per course so book early to ensure your spot. Cost is $125 per person and it includes all materials and exam. We teach adults and youths over the age of 12. Not able to make a course because of a crazy work schedule, we have you covered as we will teach a private course for you... $150 per person. Take inventory as scheduled and provide inventory reports. Increase sales, expand markets, and promote business to meet given goals within provided guidelines. Verify invoices against packaging slips and track all expenditures. Make sure that merchandise is always presented neatly and that items are priced correctly. Make sound business decisions when buying large quantities with volume based discounts. Provide management with required sales, staff and other assigned productivity reports. Hold staff accountable for cash box deficits. Balance sales, print and record receipts as well as track revenue daily. Make bank deposits daily and reconcile bank statements. Contribute, coordinate and execute the process of ordering and receiving cannabis and accessories Supervise all staff in the establishment and coordinate work to ensure productive operations at all hours. All other duties as assigned. Requirements Valid QCW/Sell Safe certification is mandatory to work in a Cannabis store in Alberta. Completion of high school and College/CEGEP/vocational or technical training. Minimum of 5 year work experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment. Proven excellent customer service skills. Management experience preferred. Excellent time management and prioritizing skills. Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff. Skills to monitor and assess staff performance. Basic office administration skills. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite Highly effective teamwork skills. Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills. Politically and culturally sensitive. Able to plan and organize work effectively and ensure its completion. Well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills. Essential Functions / Responsibilities: • Weekly, monthly site inspection of facilities. • Perform interior and exterior repairs to facilities/suites as required • Perform urgent/emergency maintenance • Ensure sidewalks and grounds safety • Maintain outdoor furnishings and outbuildings • Develop and maintain inventory records • Order and coordinate delivery of parts and materials • Ensure a safe and secure environment while performing maintenance duties • Monitor work performed by contractors and relay follow up requests • Perform other duties as required.
