Winchester Model 1894 38-55, Ref #1040 Winchester lever action, sporting rifle, octagon barrel, full length magazine. Dated app. 1895. Comes with Winchester letter. Barrel is 26” long with sights intact. Bore shows black powder use. Bluing throughout at about 50%. Screws have seen use. Functionally everything seems very good, follower works, saety is good, hammer drops when trigger pulled. Issues:  Tang has been repaired and there is no firing pin, forend has a crack in it.  Only reasonable offers will be considered. Bought on an impulse just going to stick with my CVA Scout in 45-70. ​I never fired it and the previous owner shot less the 100 rounds and it shows, 9.5-10 condition could pass as new, will come with Williams peep and original sights as well. This is the Winchester Extra light and I’m surprised at how light it is in hand, very well balanced also. Wood and bluing are impeccable. $1650 shipped. Firm No Trades pls.
