I have a Shillen select match barrel in 223 rem, for a savage small/standard shank action. Barrel is a 1:12 twist. Sendero contour (.800") at muzzle and 26" long. I ordered the barrel and have 970 documented rounds through it. Lots of life to go ( thousands of rounds). Very accurate with 40 gr vmax, 53&55 gr noslers, 52 gr Speer, barnes varmint grenade.
