Factory wood is very good at 98%, stock appears to have been varnished. Bluing is near zero on receiver, barrel and magazine app. 75%. Screws all look excellent. Original sights fully intact. Bore has rifling top to bottom with typical black powder corrosion. No repairs, alterations or additions. Operationally everything appears to be good. Cycles well, strong hammer spring and safety works. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to. Trades in person only. Winchester Model 1894 Ref #1041. Early five digit serial number. Dated 1897. This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, octagon barrel, full mag. Dated 1897 Stock is excellent, appears original. A few marks. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 26” long with sights intact. The read sights are intact and appear original. Bore is very nice, no obvious corrosion, does not appear to have ever seen black powder. Rifling throughout. Bluing is 40-50%. There are bumps and scratches on metal expected on a plus 125-year-old firearm. The drivers side receiver has a few light scratches and bangs. Screws have been used but are still usable. There is one on the loading port side that may have been a replacement. The lever functions well, safety checks out and the trigger pull, and drop are good. Firing pin is evident and protrudes when pushed on. Ejector is intact and tight, and magazine follower functions correctly.  Overall, I grade this firearm as good and should be fully functional. I don’t see many from this time frame with bores looking this good. I did not test with snap caps or fire. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to. Savage 110 Magpul Hunter. I bought it new a while back and put one box through it to zero and test.
