Extremely rare .22 in an obsolete caliber .22 Remington Autoloading. Condition is excellent in this collectable rifle made about 100 years ago. It’s a takedown rifle. This one happens to have a vintage Lyman #5 front globe sight worth $350 as well as a Lyman No1 rear sight stamped R16, which I have never seen another of! $400 value. Blueing is 95% or better. A rare item to come on the market. Rifle valued at $1100, but with sights $1750. Asking $1450.

I have a very good condition vintage Winchester 1885 in .45 70 that I'm prepared to sell. It started out as a .38-55 and was sleeved to .22 l.r.. I had the 28 inch, half octagon, half round heavy barrel bored and rechambered by Ron K. Smith in Alberta to .45 70 and an aperture sight installed. As you would expect with an RKS barrel, it is accurate. It has correct walnut stocks, refinished, with the heavy crescent butt plate. The action wall has been reduced on the right side to more easily eject spent .22 l.r. shells; Mr. Smith assured me this does not reduce the strength of the action. The lever/trigger guard has been modified to make levering faster. I've got $2800 invested in this rifle which I'd like to recover. I'll split actual shipping costs with the buyer.
