For sale is a Savage model 1899 lever action rifle. Chambered in SAV .303. Rotary style 5 shot magazine. 26" Barrel. Serial number 106710 dates it to 1910. The front fore grip had a crack in it was professional repaired by a local gunsmith. The blueing was also redone. Other than that the rifle is in good condition for its age, see pictures. Frame and butt stock medallion match. Mag number unreadable. Length: SMLE No. 1 Mk III: 44.57 in (1,132 mm) Barrel length: SMLE No. 1 Mk III: 25.2 in (640 mm) In late 1915 the Mk III* was introduced incorporating several changes, the most prominent of which were the deletion of the magazine cut-off mechanism, which when engaged permits the feeding and extraction of single cartridges only while keeping the cartridges in the magazine in reserve, and the long-range volley sights. The windage adjustment of the rear sight was also dispensed with, and the cocking piece was changed from a round knob to a serrated slab. Rifles with some or all of these features present are found, as the changes were implemented at different times in different factories and as stocks of parts were depleted. Selling/trading an Enfield No. 4 Mk I Sporter .303 British. Overall it's in good shape. Dated 1945,  barrel and receiver match. Steel is in good shape, shows some normal aging in the colour and finish. Wood stocks are in good shape as well with normal blemishes for its age. Forestock has tape on it around the barrel as the barrel band is loose without it. Bore is starting to darken but still has decent rifling left. Barrel is full length with original ears and bayonet lug, rear sight is original. Comes with one detachable magazine. Looking for $295 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades. Hi everyone, I have a very nice 1945 RCMP (MP) Number 4 mark I* in .303 for sale. As you may know these are a fairly rare rifle and don’t come up for sale that often. This one is in great condition with a few handling marks. It is currently a little grubby from storage, but I’ll be cleaning it up shortly. The serial number is not listed in the Klancher records, but that’s not unusual as most aren’t, but it falls well within the range. $2,500 plus shipping to the majors. PAL sale. Cash or EMT only.
