This is a Budapest M95 steyr (mannlicher) rifle chambered in 8x56r. It is an arsenal force match SN 5988H. Straight pull bolt action, 5rd clip fed (1clip included with rifle). History: prior to WWII the 1895 mannlicher rifles were cut down to carbine length and rechambered from 8x50r black powder to the more powerful 8x56r smokeless cartridge which is indicated by the “S” on the barrel and score line on receiver and barrel. There is a few variations of these rifles most commonly having the “M95” engraved on the receiver with a “steyr” or in this rifle’s case “Budapest”

Howdy Townpost! I've got a nice little uncommon and good condition subcompact Remington for sale now! This started its life as a Remington Model 1865 New Model Police as a cap and ball percussion revolver in .36 caliber. Many of these were never percussion guns as they existed in a weird transition period. And Remington made some of them from the ground up as cartridge guns. This one most likely was in inventory as a percussion revolver and was turned into a .38 rimfire cartridge revolver based on the serial number, in my opinion. These are one of the more rare and lesser known Remington cap and ball guns that were made. Remington only made 18,000 between 1865 and 1873. So they are relatively uncommon and scarce gun today. This is actually my personal favorite model of Remington percussion revolver they're a very handy subcompact-sized gun by today's standards they're bigger and much more comfortable in the hand in the grip than the pocket models but nice and light unlike the full size military .44s and they point very naturally. This particular example is in very good condition the nickel is a very high percentage of coverage some of the original silver plate is still visible on the trigger guard and some of the low areas. The color case hardening is still very colorful and defined on the hammer (pictured). The grips have been refinished but they are the originals. The wood grain is very interesting and beautiful in my opinion. The bore is in excellent condition especially for a Civil War era black powder firearm. This was likely carried in a police officer's holster and not fired much. It was well taken care of and the clean and good condition bore and chambres are reflection of that. The the mechanical function of this firearm is excellent as well. When I got the firearm it was actually in amazing condition to begin with and the mechanical function was perfect. It locks up and times perfectly. The hammer and the trigger pull are very crisp, light and smooth. And didn't require any adjustment, Remington did the job and they did it right the first time. The entire revolver has been taken apart and given a gunsmith's cleaning and was reassembled and lightly oiled. I came across a nice little Hunter leather holster at a gun show and found that it fit this gun very well so it's included as a freebie with the gun (pictured). The revolver is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

  I am downsizing my antique gun and militaria collection to move into a much smaller house with a much smaller gunroom.......offering an original 1880's Mills pattern , woven ammo belt with a rare 1881 Patent Mills/Orndorff brass " OLD RELIABLE " buckle and retainer. The loops hold .40 to .45 caliber rounds and included are twenty .44-90 Sharps bottleneck cartridges. Please view the photos closely as the belt has been well used and has some damaged loops and earlier field repairs.....I have always refrained from doing any repairs or "enhancements" to my original antiques as the wear and tear is a natural part of its history and character. The cartridges are not original but are repro brass which was purchased about 45 years ago and which I loaded with black powder and some very old primers which were purchased about 50 years ago ( used for display purposes only ). The belt and attached buckle were purchased by me in 1967 at an Ohio gun show. The brass buckle has that beautiful patina which only time can create and it does have a few dents from honest wear and tear.....contact me if you interested and need more photos, or different angles, as the website only allows 10 photos. Ok so I lost my mind and asked way too much for my .75 Black Powder, smooth-bore musket. This is a Pedersoli repro built in 1989. It is pristine, minty even. It is a pile of fun to shoot and for a smooth-bore is surprisingly accurate at 100 if you use a patched ball. There are no pits or rust, as I say it is minty. It does not come with this sling. I can get you one if needed. Takes its origins from the famous 1777 musket, differing from this only in some minor details. This musket faithfully reproduces the original model made in Potsdam. The barrel is of polished steel and all metal parts are of brass. The European walnut stock is oil finished. The polished steel lock, recalls the 1777 model, and is inscribed "Potsdam". First "I'll take it" with payment wins. My preference is a local deal, as shipping this rifle won't be cheap, especially for the buyer. Not looking for any trades. Asking $1,300.00. Offers welcome.

I am downsizing, so up is my prized antique Colt revolver in 45 acp. This gun is dated 1876 as per the low serial number. It was refinished some time in its past life. It has a new barrel, comes with brand new internals and screws. All original parts are included, or at least all the parts that came with the gun when I got it. It also comes with an additional 455 Webley cylinder. This gun was tuned by Rusty wood trading company and has a roughly 2 lb butter smooth trigger pull. The only issue with the gun is the one piece grips don't exactly fit, so there is some overlap on the bottom of the frame as seen in the pictures. Otherwise it is in perfect condition. All four clicks are present on the hammer notches. I am also including some extra goodies. I am including a bunch of snap caps, an extra set of two piece wood grips that I was working on trying to fit to the frame, a one size fits all nylon holster, 6000 large pistol primers, and 2000 Winchester factory primed 45 ACP brass brand new that are listed in my other ads. This is local Edmonton area sales only, I'm not shipping this. Not looking for trades but will accept non-refundable payment plans over a reasonable period of time. Cash or EMT only.
