Here is an overall very good condition numbers matching bolt receiver, and nose cap war survivor. This battle rifle comes with an original 1917 dated canvas sling. The rear sites also have the ability for adjustment for windage. The bore is in very good condition with sharp lands and grooves. No cracks or rust anywhere in the stock or rifle. Made by London Small Arms. These rifles are considered to be better quality than most Lee Enfield’s that were produced. Here you have a good too very good condition overall Lee Enfield jungle carbine. Appears to have had armoury repairs to the for Stock at one point in time. However, this rifle functions exactly how it should. Whether or not you were looking for something to collect or something to shoot you will have no issues with this rifle whatsoever. Comes with a period correct adjustable sling. The rifling is in very good condition and clean. Also has a rear elevator site. The bolt and breach seem to be mismatched. This is a 1940 Ishapore made No 1 MK111 ( not a MK111*) with mag cutoff and period correct RFI stamped bayonet. The hardware and wood set is good to excellent condition ( for an 84 year old rifle) and as far as I can tell, completely original from the factory. Bolt, receiver, Barrel, rear sight and nose cap are all matching numbers. The magazine isn't matching numbers but is RFI stamped. The bayonet is the short 12 inch "Indian Pattern" which I believe is a 1943 made bayonet. There are some visible repairs to the butt stock, maybe field repairs or post military use - I don't know. I can't make out the markings on the underside of the butt stock but it doesn't appear to be English or Latin script, possibly Punjabi, Bengali or Burmese. The barrel is probably nearing the end of it's life but I have taken this rifle to the range numerous times and it shoots fine with pretty good accuracy at 100 yards. I didn't really want to sell this one as it's a great historical piece, but I need to reduce the amount of Rifles and spare parts I have. This started out as an LSA Sht LE MK111 showing 1907 as the year of manufacture -  I believe the first year the  MK111 was put into military service. It was then converted to a single shot 410 shot gun in 1934 at the Rifle factory Ishapore in India, where it was also restocked into a full Indian Rosewood wood set. This shotgun is matching bolt, receiver, barrel and wood although the nose cap is blank. All other parts look to be original to either it's 1907 manufacture or it's 1934 conversion.  it's in exceptional condition with only minor scratches and a few marks/chips out of the wood and one armory repair to the butt stock.  I have only fired this shotgun once in all the years i've owned it - it will fire modern 410 cartridges. This is a very nice collectors piece, at nearly 120 years old and 92 years since being converted to a shotgun, it's still one of the best original condition  Lee Enfield's I've ever seen ..... and I've bought and sold many.  The price is firm, I won't be disappointed if it doesn't sell.

Here is a bolt and receiver matching 1950  long branch precision shooting target rifle. These rifles are very collectable in the shooting community and  chambered in 7.62. Only a couple thousand of  made and are regarded as incredibly accurate rifles.   Please see picture for details on condition but overall, I would rate this as high condition or very good condition stock as well as bore.  Collectors estimate around 1,500–2,000 authentic CAL/DCRA conversions were done (some sources cite ~1,300–1,982 based on observed numbers and databases compiling photos/serial tracking). These are scarce today, especially pristine examples. Long Branch receivers (like this 1950 one) are preferred for conversions due to better tolerances/magazine fit, but British receivers (e.g., BSA, Fazakerley) were also used (sometimes requiring extra milling). This rifle’s setup (target sights, display with Canadian volunteer theme) aligns with a classic DCRA target configuration— converted 7.62 example used in DCRA events. Easily accommodates 2 rifles ( see photos ) ...... a great metal gun case ( if somewhat heavy construction ) which I purchased to hunt overseas. It has not seen much use ( actually only  1 flight on a hunting trip to New Zealand  carrying both a Malcolm scoped 16 lb., 32" barreled Sharps long range and an a scoped 10 lb. mid range ) , as well as a dozen or so trips by car to various gun shows in North America, at which I used to display various select arms from my Sharps and Remington Rolling Block collection. The sturdily built case weighs about 17.8 lbs. by itself and measures 53 1/2 " x 13 1/4 " x 4 1/2" . I have tried my best to photograph and show the few dents on both sides of the case. These are now in the $600 plus price range for a new one. YES, both keys still come with it!   I am willing to ship at buyer’s expense, or offer local pick up --- I am also in Red Deer one day per week and can arrange to meet there, or enroute, for delivery.
